New Collection: Soft Plaid Sleepwear and Frilly Nighties
Soft ladies' sleepwear
The Sleep Shirt presents Fall 2017, a collection of autumnal sleepwear designed to be worn at home as temperatures dip and the cold season sets in. Inspired by the rich fall Canadian landscape, reds and blues dominate the collection’s colour palette, which includes soft plaid sleepwear and frilly nighties.
New shapes include a short-sleeved Sleep Shirt available in lightweight fabrics as well as a seasonal plaid. This piece, with front breast pockets, doubles as a comfortable day dress in addition to being a chic nightshirt.
The season also introduces the Ruffle Nightie, a feminine piece with spaghetti straps and rows of ruffles along the hem. A sheer black cotton gives this nightie a seductive charm, whereas a blue cotton and white linen offer sweet versions of this flirty shape.
The original long-sleeved nightshirt, a classic and traditional sleep garment in two lengths, is the brand’s most popular item. For Fall 2017, it is available in a series of new fabrics, including lightweight options for warmer rooms and autumnal weights for the cold weather.
Chic pyjamas for women
Fabrics include a beautiful Japanese plaid and the relaunch of the Black Swiss Dot cotton, one of the company’s best-selling fabrics in 2015. This slightly sheer Japanese cotton has an embroidered dot pattern and a very lightweight, delicate hand. The Light Blue Twill is a classic shirting fabric and comes in at an entry-level price point, as does the White Cotton Stripe, now a staple in the seasonal collections.
The Autumn Plaid is a Japanese-woven flannel in tones of red and blue; a luxurious cotton brushed on only one side that is wonderfully soft on the skin.
The collection also features two prints; a delicate red floral print on a white cotton, and a navy cotton with red cluster pattern. Both are available in modern pyjama sets as well as the classic nightshirts.
