Sleepwear shapes that double as daywear for Resort 2021
A Collection of Nightwear Fashion
We're thrilled to introduce the new collection, filled with versatile loungewear pieces to be worn around the home, to bed, and as ready to wear. Over the last year, we have expanded our sleepwear offering to include more shapes and materials that work for daywear and resort wear. The new shapes include a stylish slip dress, a comfortable house skirt, a lightweight full length house dress and a new classic button down shirt. Shades of blush pink, sage green, silver grey and powdery blue highlight the fresh take on the season.
The slip dress was designed to fill a gap in the market for a linen slip that could be worn on its own or underneath another item. This bias-cut dress has adjustable thin straps, a v-shaped neckline, and an asymmetrical seam runs through the hem for a playful and feminine flare. We recommend this piece to be worn as a nightie, a dress, or a slip.
Your Perfect Pyjama Capsule Wardrobe
This season we launched our first skirt, aptly named the House Skirt. With a flared A-line shape and an elastic gathered waistline, the skirt is comfortable and easy to slip on and off. The skirt has two side pockets and falls at a midi length. A great wardrobe addition, the skirt is perfect for tucking in a t-shirt or pairing with a lounge top from the brand for a casual, yet sophisticated look.
Full-length pieces continue to be very popular with our customers, so our design team wanted to produce a lighter version of the beloved Full Length Sleep Shirt, while keeping the modest length and coverage it offers. The result is the Sleeveless Full Length Dress, which has a curved slit neckline and a loosely flared body that grazes the floor.
Women's Button Up Pyjamas
The newest nightshirt of the season is the Classic Shirt. The long-sleeved button-down top has a shirt collar, front pocket, and a hem that falls mid-thigh, slightly shorter than our best selling Short Sleep Shirt. The versatile shape can be worn on its own as a nightshirt, tucked into a skirt or shorts as a casual ready to wear outfit, or unbuttoned over a swimsuit to be used as a beach coverup.
The new Slip On Top has three-quarter length sleeves and a short, buttonless placket. It will be sold in a set with the Curved Hem short, a re-issue of a popular short seen in Resort 2019. The two shapes make a stunning pyjama set that will be available in both cotton and linen. The Slip On Top will also be available as a pyjama set with the classic Lounge Pant or on its own as a separate.
What to Wear in the Bedroom
This season we're featuring a colour palette of muted pastels in soft cottons, lightweight linens and cozy flannels. In addition, a cashmere blend, a silk cotton stripe, and a smooth Tencel will round out the luxurious textures of the assortment.
The Classic Blue Oxford is a solid blue, 100% cotton with a smooth hand and opaque coverage, available in the season’s classic shapes. Brought back by popular demand is the soft and lightweight double gauze cotton, this time in a muted silver blue.
Discover Luxury Ladies Nightwear
The first of the blended compositions is the Cream Silk Blend Stripe, a luxurious, lightweight, semi-sheer silk and cotton shirting with black pinstripes on a tan base. We also decided to re-introduce a cashmere blend this season. The Grey Cashmere Twill is a 95% Cotton 5% Cashmere blend fabric that is ultra-soft in a beautiful solid grey colour.
Cozy flannels this season include the Pink Check Flannel and the Grey Plaid Flannel. The Pink Check Flannel is a wonderful silky soft fabric with a bold coral pink check pattern on an eggshell base. The Grey Plaid Flannel is a delicately brushed cotton with a plaid pattern featuring greens, blues and greys on a cream base.
The newest linen for Resort 2021 is Sage Linen, an olive green shade that rounds out the overall tone of the collection. The 100% linen has a loose, textured weave and will be available in the classic Short and Long Sleep Shirt. We are also introducing our first Tencel, a drapy, luxurious fabric with a smooth silk feel. Available in a blush pink tone, the Tencel will be available in the classic nightshirts and the new Long Slip Dress.
