If you placed an order on or before March 16th, 2023, the refund policy below will apply to your order.

GUIDELINES FOR REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES

  • Items bought on sale are final sale.
  • We accept any unworn, unwashed, unaltered, or unused full priced clothing for a refund or exchange within 21 calendar days of the purchase. (Exceptions apply, see below.)
  • All refunds, exchanges, or returns must be initiated within 21 days of purchase.
  • We do not accept returns or exchanges that are not pre-approved by email.
  • Shipping fees are not refunded.
  • Gift cards are final sale.
  • We cannot apply a discount code or store credit to an order which has already been placed. If you are having trouble applying a discount code to your order, please send us an email before you place your order and we can assist you. 
  • Items bought with the newsletter discount code or an influencer/website discount code for 20% or less are eligible for exchanges, items bought with any other discount codes, any credit notes, and The Sleep Shirt points are final sale.
  • All items must be returned in sellable condition (new and unworn), including original packaging with original hang tags attached.
  • When returning items, please obtain a copy of the package tracking number. Returns must include the customer order number and billing name.
  • When a return is authorised, the goods need to be returned to us within 14 days in order to be eligible for a refund or exchange.
  • When shipping goods to us from outside of Canada, please make sure to mark the items as a return with a low value and choose a service so that we do not incur any duties, taxes, or brokerage fees (usually charged if you ship using a ground service.) You will be responsible for any fees that are incurred during the returns process.
  • We reserve the right to refuse an exchange if the item is no longer in sellable condition.
  • It can take up to 10 business days to process a return once the return shipment has arrived.
  • We do not offer price adjustments.
  • Please note that all made to order items are final sale.
  • Outside of Canada, import fees and sales taxes are non-refundable through Into the Bedroom Inc. However, you may be able to recover these by contacting the organization to whom you paid them to, your local customs bureau or by hiring a customs broker.
  • An item can only be exchanged once, we cannot exchange an item that was sent out as part of an exchange. Items purchased with a credit note issued as part of an exchange are final sale.
  • If a product was damaged or shipped incorrectly, please contact us within 7 days of receiving the item at info@thesleepshirt.com to arrange for a replacement item. In order to process damaged goods, we require a photo of the damage to the garment, as well as all of the packaging. There will be no charge for shipping on damaged or replacement orders, providing we are contacted within 7 days of its arrival.
  • If you believe your package has been delivered to the wrong address, please contact us at info@thesleepshirt.com within 7 days of the delivery date noted on the tracking. We cannot be held responsible for packages taken from outside your home.
  • Please note you are responsible for following the tracking of your package.
  • Packages that are refused by the customer or a person at their address will be considered abandoned and are not eligible for a refund or replacement.
  • Please note that credit notes issued as part of an exchange cannot be combined with other promotions that require the use of a code, for example, the EXTRA20 discount.
  • Please note items from the Bare Knitwear pop up are only available for an exchange. This applies to all knitwear.
  • If you wish to return something, you must contact us in advance. If you or a person at your address refuses a package from a courier for whatever reason, the order will be considered abandoned and you will not be eligible for a refund.

NORTH AMERICA - CLOTHING REFUNDS & EXCHANGES

If you bought full price clothing and want to exchange it, send us an email with your order number and the item you want to exchange. We will provide you with a return label. Once the item is returned to us, we will send out your replacement item or send you a credit note to use at a later date.

If you bought full price clothing and want to return it for a refund, send us an email with your order number and the item you want to return and we will send you instructions. You will be expected to return the item to us at your expense using a shipping method of your choice. Once the item is returned to us, we will refund you the cost of the item. Please note items from the Bare Knitwear pop up are only available for an exchange. Items in the Archive Collection are subject to the following returns policy: we accept any unworn, unwashed, unaltered, or unused full-priced Archive Collection pieces for a refund or exchange within 14 calendar days of the purchase.

All sale items or items purchased using a discount code or credit note (with exception to the newsletter or influencer discount codes for 20% or less - see above) are final sale. 

We do not process refunds over $750. Refund requests over $750 will result in a $750 refund and the remaining balance in store credit. Customers are entitled to a maximum of $750 in refunds in each calendar year, the rest will be paid out in credit notes. We reserve the right to deny any refund or exchange if the customer has a history of multiple returns. Please note all made to order items are final sale.

EUROPEAN UNION - REFUNDS & EXCHANGES

If you bought full price or discounted merchandise and want to exchange it or get a refund, send us an email with your order number and the item you want to return and we will send you instructions. You will be expected to return the item to us using a shipping method of your choice. Once the item is returned to us, we will send out your replacement item, send you a credit note, or refund you the cost of the item. All other refund policy terms and conditions apply. 

Please note that all the St.Genève products are made to order, and therefore are not eligible for refunds or exchanges from the EU. The Helena Dress in sizes XXL/XXXL is made to order and is final sale.

REST OF THE WORLD - REFUNDS & EXCHANGES

Orders shipped outside of Canada, the US, and the European Union member states are final sale.

REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES ON NON-CLOTHING ITEMS

The following items can be exchanged for another product or a credit note if they are purchased at full price: blankets, quilts, slippers, UPCYCLE products, storage, and baskets. The customer is responsible for all return shipping charges via the courier of their choice. If the above items were purchased on sale or using a discount code, they are final sale.

The following items are final sale and are not eligible for refunds or exchanges: candles, eyemasks, masks, slippers, candles, and beauty products.

St.Genève duvets, pillows, and beddings: All St.Genève bed products are made to order and are final sale.

REFUSED OR UNDELIVERED PACKAGES

Please note you are responsible for following the tracking of your package and alerting us if there are any delays or issues. You will receive a tracking number when your item ships and you are responsible for ensuring that you are home to receive your package or available to pick up the package from a local collection point. Please contact us if you have not received a tracking number within 5 business days of placing your order. Packages that are refused by the customer or a person at their address will be considered abandoned and are not eligible for a refund or replacement. If you fail to pay the duties and import fees, or you do not respond to delivery or pick-up requests from the delivery company or ourselves, your package will be considered abandoned and will not be eligible for a refund or replacement. The customer is responsible for following the tracking and responding to any updates about collecting the package at a pick up point. If you think you are going to miss your package or will be unable to collect it, please contact us and we will do our best to assist you.

Please note that any returns sent directly to our warehouse without prior approval from The Sleep Shirt will not be accepted. Please make sure to contact info@thesleepshirt.com for prior approval before returning an item.

UNRESPONSIVE COMMUNICATIONS

We reserve the right to refuse a refund or exchange on any item if the customer is unresponsive to emails or other communications. Please respond to all communications within two weeks, all offers are rescinded if the customer does not respond within the two week time frame.
