The Sleep Shirt is a Canadian premium sleepwear brand rooted in the belief that comfort and style should never be at odds.
Founded in 2012 by Alexandra Suhner Isenberg, the brand reimagined the classic nightshirt at a time when women’s sleepwear was largely defined by either silky seduction or traditional pyjama sets. The Sleep Shirt offered something different: practical, beautifully made pieces that were made to last.
Today, under the ownership of Rebeka Eriksson, The Sleep Shirt continues to honour its original spirit while thoughtfully evolving into its next chapter. The brand remains proudly made in Canada, produced in Vancouver, BC through small production runs using high-quality, sustainable natural fibres including fine European OEKO-TEX® certified cottons and linens.

We design pieces to transcend the bedroom. A Sleep Shirt moves seamlessly from bed to mornings, from cottage weekends to beach walks, from home office to school drop-off. These are garments meant to be lived in, breathable, refined, and designed to last.
